Upset because Howard policies that support the U.S. War in Iraq

"This is for the death of the Iraqi people!" cried a man named Peter Gray when Howard threw the shoe in the direction of the bleachers. The throw was missed and Gray immediately expelled from the studio by security guards.
Gray admitted that the pitch was an expression of annoyance to Howard, who he considers the Bush ally in the U.S. military invasion of Iraq. During the reign of Australia, Howard helped the U.S. military campaign to deploy 2000 troops to Iraq.
